Privacy policy

The short version: Forge keeps your orders, profiles, email logins and cards on your PC. We never see them. To check your membership, Forge's sign-in server uses your Discord account ID and a random ID for your PC, and that's it.

What stays on your computer

Forge is a desktop app, not a cloud service. These are stored on your PC only (in %APPDATA%\Forge) and are not sent to us:

Your orders, deliveries, addresses, subscriptions and expenses
Your email accounts and passwords used for order syncing
Your profiles (kept in a vault encrypted with a key Windows protects for your user account)
Drop cards and anything you export

When Forge syncs your orders, your PC connects straight to your email provider. Your email doesn't pass through our servers.

What our sign-in server uses

When you sign in, Forge talks to our sign-in server at auth.getforge.net to confirm your membership:

The PC ID is a random code. It doesn't contain your name, your PC's name, or anything about your files. We don't store your Discord password or your Discord login token.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Whop. We don't see or store your payment details. Whop's own privacy policy covers what they collect. Whop gives your Discord account the Forge role, which is how Forge knows you have access.

Discord

Sign-in uses Discord. When you sign in, Discord asks you to approve sharing your basic profile with Forge. Discord's privacy policy covers your Discord account.

Downloads and updates

The installer and updates come from downloads.getforge.net. Forge checks there for new versions. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep standard request logs, such as IP addresses, for security and to keep the service running.

getforge.net doesn't use cookies, ads or tracking scripts.

We don't sell your data

We don't sell, rent or share your information with advertisers.

Deleting your data

On your PC: uninstall Forge and delete the folder %APPDATA%\Forge.
On our server: signing out of Forge removes that PC. To remove your Discord ID and PC list completely, contact us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
